St Mary's Church Grundisburgh would love to hear from people who have the relevant skills and who are keen to make a contribution to the local community.
After many faithful and excellent years as St Mary's Church Treasurer, Clive Willetts has given notice that he will retire from the role in the next year or two. To enable a smooth transition, the Parish Church Council (PCC) are hoping there may be someone in the village who would be willing to shadow Clive in the role, learning the systems with a view to taking over when he steps down.
We would also love to hear from anyone interested in supporting the life of this much valued village institution as PCC Secretary. We hold four meetings a year (usually May, September, November and January), plus an AGM in the spring. The role involves preparing agendas, writing and distributing minutes and preparing and submitting the annual report.
